Glutarol contains glutaraldehyde.The active ingredient inactivates the wart virus and helps to reduce the spread of warts and verrucas by drying the wart and the surrounding skin.
Warts and verrucas are small excessive growths of skin caused by a particular virus. The virus is highly infectious and warts and verrucas may grow and spread if left untreated. The virus can be transferred from one person to another. You can recognise a wart by the rough cauliflower-like appearance of the surface. Verrucas often occur on the sole of the foot, and are recognised by their tenderness and interruption of the footprint pattern.
