Hydrocortisone Tablets (formerly known as Corlan Pellets) are white tablets containing 2.5mg hydrocortisone as the active ingredient. Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid. It reduces soreness, swelling and inflammation. Hydrocortisone Tablets are used to treat painful mouth ulcers. They should only be used if you have been diagnosed with recurrent aphthous ulceration of the mouth. They should not be used to treat ulcers caused by injury, infection or trauma of the mouth, for example from dentures.
