Orabase protective paste can be used in the mouth to provide a protective film over sore areas and ulcers. Adcortyl in orabase ulcer treatment was formulated in this base with added steroid. This product does NOT contain any steroid.

Orabase is formulated to adhere to mucous membranes and raw weeping areas. It can be used in the mouth , around wounds or ostomies that need protection.

 

Orabase paste contains Gelatin 16.7%, Pectin 16.7%, Sodium carbnoxymethylcellulose 16.7% Polythene 2.5% and liquid paraffin 47.4%
